1 queen has 2 cocoons! The queens are currently feasting on some calcium covered wingless fruit flies.
Ice, thought this info might help you but I have fed my Odonto queen a larger variety of insects since the last time we spoke. Mine might be different from yours, but she has accepted and hunted down: Flightless Fruit Flies(FFF), small(3-4mm) earwigs, larger earwigs with pincer cut off, small beetles, flour weevil(thanks back-shelf-forgotten Kraft mac from Publix! ) isopods and 2 species of ant male alates. This species, it seems, can accept a large variety of insects as long as the size is 2/3rds of the size of adult or smaller.
No nanitics yet, hoping I get them soon. Sorry for no pictures, Ill try to take some later. Gatlin, thank you again for amazing advice! I'm assuming I put out flour to get the flour weevils?
Welp, 1 queen has 1 nanitic. These ants grow so small!
