Okay, I just found these in my pool. 3 (2 of which are drowned out from the water) "larger" ants, they have a striped gaster and are about ~7mm long. I'm not sure if the smaller ant it a queen, but it was dragging its gaster, and i've heard queens can be pretty small, it's about 4mm, with a brown-redish head and thorax, brown gaster.

Large ants:

Ant ID's require a location. :)

If you've enjoyed using my expertise and identifications, please do not create undue ecological risk by releasing your ants. The environment which we keep our pet insects is alien and oftentimes unsanitary, so ensure that wild populations stay safe by giving your ants the best care you can manage for the rest of their lives, as we must do with any other pet.

Exotic ants are for those who think that vibrant diversity is something you need to pay money to see. It is illegal to transport live ants across state lines.

The larger queens are all Tetramorium.

Can we get better pictures of the smaller queen, please?

Sure thing, I had a hard time getting it calmed down. I'm not so sure it's a queen, but it could be.
