Here is my very slow growing small Lasius americanus colony. They have been in this test tube for quite a few months, just hooked them up to a fresh one.

Feb 11 2018 - Took them out of hibernation a week ago(4months total). They are still reluctant to leave that dirty old test tube, it's held water for ages but finally ran dry.
I've got them hooked up to a nice new setup, can't wait to get a good picture of them.

			This is an interesting journal!
I have a Lasius alienus colony. The queen was caught last August. They have 7 workers (the nanatics). They have large larvae. They are really slow growing. Is this normal?
