I'm going on a trip to Arkansas and I was wondering if it would be possible to find some Pogomymrex there as I've been really wanting to catch some of those queens. It's supposed to rain right after I get there so I'll be looking for some queens.

You would be better off going to any other third world country, like Haiti, El Salvador, Bangladesh... Arkansas is a truly horrific place. Now having said all that the anting is pretty rough there and I have yet to see Pogonomyrmex  and they may well have flown by the time you get there.

Horrific in which ways? I live in Arkansas, and it's not that bad...
