Hi, today I found this ant in my backyard. Is very big, like 12-15mm. I don't think it's a queen, but I put it inside a test tube just to take pictures more easily.

 

I live in Yucatan, Mexico (tropical weather).

I would not say Neoponera vilosa yet. It can be very hard to get the sp. as little things can change it. It is definitely Neoponera.
