It appears that most ant seed mixes contain large amounts of Kentucky Bluegrass seeds. I've been looking in to making my own seed mix, as buying it online is very expensive, and I cannot find anyone selling Kentucky Bluegrass seeds without added substances. I actually bought a bag, but found out after I got it that it contained fungicide and insecticide (and thank god I did). Every seller of these seeds includes some sort of artificial chemical mixed in.

My Veromessor also seem to hate the seed mix I have for them as of now. Picky little ants...

Does anyone know of somewhere to buy these seeds? At this point, I'm fine buying them in bulk (good thing seeds don't expire easily!).

Currently keeping:

Veromessor Andrei (red varient) x1, Tetramorium immigrans x4, and Solenopsis xyloni x1

Ants I NEED:

Acromyrmex versicolor, Pheidole rhea, any Myrmecocystus

I've heard good things about Jonathan Green (11970) KBG, you can find them on Amazon. Haven't tried them myself though.

Thanks so much!

I'll be sure to get some.

Hopefully my Veromessor will like these. My tetras seem to eat more seeds than my Veromessor right now...
