1. Driveway, Kent County, Delaware

2. Date of collection:12/25/2025 - 3:00 pm 

3. Habitat of collection - in the middle of a small town

4. Length - about 7mm

5. Coloration... - darkish body with lighter legs

6. Distinguishing characteristics - ?

7. anything else - Was a warm winter afternoon, high 50 degrees

8. Nest - n/a

9. Nuptial Flight - n/a

 

I don't think this is winter ant - Prenolepis imparis. Maybe a Lasius? or the ever present Tetramorium?

Looks like some sort of lasius social parasite cuz of the legs and mandibles (take this with a grain of salt though)
