This is my first diapause, and I just wanted to make sure I am doing everything correctly. I put them is a 38-degree fridge in a box. Is that the right temperature?

What species of ants? 38 should be fine, but a little bit warmer might be better if you can adjust your fridge temp.

it is already at the hottest it gets. I am keeping Camponotus Chromaiodes, Tetramorium Immigrans, and a large black species that I have not yet ID'd. I also have a Solenopsis Molesta colony, but I heard they don't need to hibernate.

Tetramorium do not need hibernation either. The Campononotus will be fine on the fridge. Leave them at least three months.
