Wisconsin 7/26/25 lasius?

1. Location (on a map) of collection: wisconsin
2. Date of collection: 7/26/25
3. Habitat of collection: wooded area, blacklight 1030pm
4. Length (from head to gaster): 6-7mm
5. Color, hue, pattern and texture: shiny black and brown
6. Distinguishing characteristics:
7. Distinguishing behavior: quite fast for a queen. Very skittish similar to formica
8. Nest description:

9. Nuptial flight time and date: 1030pm 7/26/25


There were tons of ants on the blacklight tonight. At least 4-5 different species. Pretty sure I saw a bunch of male lasius ants so I'm guessing this is lasius species but not sure.
