Hey guys, I've been kind of wanting to catch some people bicarinata this year but haven't seen any yet. I don't seem to find much info on these flight times other than they're at night. Most of the time it seems these are happening earlier in the year, but seems to be for folks down south. Anyone have any idea if Pheidole bicarinata flew up north in places like Wisconsin? I basically blacklight every night, even if conditions aren't good I don't want to miss something! But haven't seen any all year so I was curious if you all knew! Thanks

Here in Virginia, P. bicarinata flights typically happen from Father’s Day to mid-July. They fly on hot, humid nights with calm winds, usually following a rain. I’m not sure when they fly further north.
"The ants are a people not strong, yet they prepare their meat in the summer." Prov. 30:25
Keep ordinary ants in extraordinary ways.

I would ask AnthonyP163, also known as Stateside Ants. He is the most prominent ant keeper and seller from Wisconsin, and has sold Pheidole bicarinata on multiple occasions.
