gaston is at a weird angle. seems to be a bit clumsy. Size is about 12-13 mm.

Myrmicaria brunnea group. I have seen people who are more familiar with Indian ants than I calling these all M. brunnea, but AntWeb lists a couple species for India and I am not personally confident in separating them.
