Hello everyone! Glad to have found this forum! Love to chat about ants and ant-keeping. I currently have a tetramorium immigrans colony, pogonomyrmex occidentalis colony, and as of today, at least one Camponotus (Pennsylvanicus I think) queen in the founding stage. I want to raise a Camponotus colony, so far of the queens I’ve found this season, only the most recent seems to be fertile. I’m also currently getting into making my own custom formicarium and having a lot of fun with that.

Welcome! Looking forward to reading your journals and seeing your formicarium builds. I also keep Tetramorium immigrans, as well as Camponotus vicinus and modoc.

Go to the ant, you sluggard; consider its ways and be wise! It has no commander, no overseer or ruler, yet it stores it's provisions in summer and gathers its food at harvest. Proverbs 6: 6-8
