I am looking for something to film my ants with. I have been doing some research and all the recommended cameras have been wayyyyyyyy out of my price range. I tried using my GoPro hero 7 but it did not work and neither did my phone. I need something under $200 with a macro lens, preferably a camcorder, but I know it is less realistic. If you can’t find a camcorder then just a good camera with a macro lens is fine.
Thanks.

Most people on here film ants with their phones and a clip on macro lens. Amazon has many good options.

Keep ordinary ants in extraordinary ways.

You will be able to get nothing quality for under $200 except a macro lens. Even used Cannon cameras on ebay are over $200 if you want a lens that can capture ants well. Even if your phone camera is terrible, your best shot is a macro lens as it will at least get you better pictures until you save up enough for a decent camera.

iPhone 14 Pro with an Apexel Macro lens. It isn't even made for that model specifically, but still works great.
