Hey everyone, my name’s Ivan, I’m from the Bay Area.

With flights around the corner I was wondering if there’s anyone around NorCal (especially the Bay) who’d be down to meet up and go looking for queens, could be fun to link up, explore some good spots, and help each other ID or collect.

I’ve got a few locations
• Mount Diablo / Rock City
• East Bay hills (like Briones, Las Trampas)

Suggestions are encouraged to help benefit all, anywhere with good potential for nuptial flights is fair game. If you’re interested, feel free to reply or PM me. We could set something casual up, and I’m even open to driving or carpooling depending on where people are coming from.

I think it’d be beneficial for us ant keepers to build some local connections and show SoCal who’s better…… lol

Looking forward to hearing from anyone nearby

– Ivan

I've been pretty active in the Bay for a while. Cool that someone is finally making an attempt to organize an anting group here on Formiculture. I'd be more than happy to put a list of general regions on where to find nice ants sometime soon.

That's cool. I have been wondering where are the bay anters, since I see SoCal have more active people. It would be cool to know some locations
