I am generally new to ant keeping, but have kept a small number of colonies. I hope to get some species native to my region. Species of ant with high polymorphism interest me. I hope to get some ant species native to California with them. If you have any of these species, please message me using private messaging. If anyone has any information please tell me! I hope to meet other ant keepers in California too. I have kept some a colony of the Camponotus genus, and some ants that I have found in the wilderness. Sadly, most colonies survived for a few months. I hope to learn more about the specific conditions in which to keep ants, and techniques to help my ant colonies live a full life.

Hello! Also from Irvine here, but have no colonies with a lot of polymorphism. Good luck getting them though!
