Hello Formiculture! Haven't been on the forum much in the past 6 months or so with school and all, so I figured I'd give an update. Unfortunately many of my colonies did not make it through hibernation, while I am obviously disappointed in this, I am not exactly surprised as a first year ant keeper. My T. immigrans colony is doing extremely well, workers into the 250-300 range, with plenty more on the way with a brood pile that takes up half a tube, I have upped the feeding to an insane level in hopes for them to grow very fast this summer. Just today they had 15 small crickets and a large pile of seeds and fish flakes, so they are doing very well. As for other colonies I have 6 C. subbarbatus queens currently, as well as 1 C. castaneus and what I believe is C. novaeboracensis, as well as a few other small queens I will get ID'd in the next day or 2 hopefully, so all in all going pretty well for me as of late, thanks for reading
