1. Location of collection: Cambridge, Ontario, Canada
2. 5/14/2025
3. Habitat of collection:  Gravel parking lot
4. Length: 17mm
5. Coloration: black head, reddish orange thorax, black gaster with gold bands.
6. Nuptial flight time: No alates spotted
 
looking quite physogastric I would love to take side shots, but she moves a lot unfortunately.

Camponotus novaeboracensis queen! Congratulations, from my experience this is a great ant species to  keep.
