Springtails

Why don't people put springtails into their setups is it because they bug the brood or something else. Just wondering

A lot of ant species will eat springtails, such as Odontomachus. Additionally I've found that most ant setups are not very spacious, therefore not giving springtails much space to hide and reproduce.
