Hello! I'm Trav from Brisbane, Australia. I've been antkeeping for a couple years now and I have a decent amount of experience. The coolest ant I have is either an undescribed Polyrhachis (Hedomyrma) or Polyrhachis Ornata.

Hello NorthernTrav;

Welcome to Formiculture!   I'm curious to see the kinds of ants you have and how you keep them.

Hello from Germany!

I have been to Australia and New Zealand for studies for 11 years of my life and even had the pleasure to go anting with some scientists of the South Australian museum (Adelaide).

I am looking forward to seeing some pictures and report about all the awesome Aussie ants you keep or encounter!

Haha thank you, Brisbane doesn't have as much variety as the southern states but there's definitely some cool things out there.

Go to the ant, you sluggard; consider its ways and be wise! It has no commander, no overseer or ruler, yet it stores it's provisions in summer and gathers its food at harvest. Proverbs 6: 6-8
