Macro Lens for taking Pictures of Ants

Does anyone have a good macro lens and know where they got it from? I have an iPhone 14.


Currently Keeping:

Camponotus sayi x4 - Pupae                                     Atta texana x32 

Camponotus discolor x6 - Pupae                               Formica sp. - Larvae

Camponotus texanus - 14 workers                            Formica sp. - Eggs                                                                               

Camponotus pennsylvanicus - 125-150 workers       Pheidole sp. - 200-300 workers                                                                                                                               

Pogonomyrmex occidentalis - 50-75 workers            Pheidole hyatti - 7 workers        

Crematogaster spp. - 500-1000 workers                   Camponotus novaeboracensis - Eggs

Novomessor albisetosus - 100-125 workers             Leptogenys elongata - 7-10 workers

I use this one. I'm unsure if this will work with iPhone 14, but I think it does!

Currently raising: 

Manica invidia (1 queen +  ~30 workers)

Lasius niger (single queen + ~200+ workers)

Lasius americanus (2 single queen + brood)

Lasius americanus (1 queen + worker, more on the way!)

Tetramorium immigrans (1 queen + ~1200 workers)

It should fit on almost any phones.

Yeah my macrolens fits on my old SE, my 14 pro, and iPad Mini.

Oh sweet that could come in handy! Great for taking pics at night. Does it wash out the colour too much?

My personal experience with the Apexel on the Iphone 12 is abit dismal due to when I try to use 2.5x, I have to constantly adjust or it will lose focus and it may be due to my phone cover. I can get it work 70% of the time. 

 

I'll test it out without a phone cover, but that would be very inconvenient if I need to take off my cover to use it. The pictures/videos do come out well.
