I'm still here guys... Don't you dare think I left!  :yes: 

 

What I wanted to say is that I'm going to be coming here more frequently  :yahoo:  (yay for me)  Basically I had a lot of things happening recently and formiculture was just forgotten. Long story short, these incidents  involving school and everything is forcing me to move to somewhere abroad and now I am faced with a decision. Give away / sell my colonies, or release.  :*( (NOOOOO I I WANT TO KEEP MY COLONIES WAAAHHH)

 

Anyways I'm going to post about my new colonies here.

Currently keeping:

 

1x Formica subsericea, 35-40 workers + maybe eggs                                                                       *New* 2x Camponotus nova, one has only larva

1x Crematogaster cerasi, All workers is ded   :facepalm:*extreme internal screaming*                        1x Myrmica ruba sp around 10 workers + pupa

*New* 1x Temnothorax curvispinosus, 101 or something worker + 3 or 4 royal mom ants + pile of white ant worms

 

*As you watch your ants march, remember that every thing begins with a small step and continued by diligence and shared dreams* -A.T (which is Me)

 

Sadly due to unforeseen consequences, I will soon be giving away my colonies (I will miss them though  :*( )

I totally know how you feel. I was also off FC for quite some time. (I'm STILL pretty infrequent) I also had to give away all my colonies because I was moving to Korea for a year, and even though I'm back, my parents won't let me keep ants because I live in an apartment now. 

I hope your future colonies are as prosperous as the current!

Oof, I feel bad for you... Also thanks for the support, (y)  I want my future colonies to be like the colonies I have now but to my knowledge, there is barely any info on keeping the species that live where I might go, so that will be a learning curve

 

 

 

(I want to move to Ontario instead, it = keepy colonies)

Somewhere on the eastern hemisphere.

 

Edit: I was just checking this journal view count and it is at 1k..... wow.....

Where are you moving to?

We are thinking of moving to Dubai but I don't know when. One thing that's for sure is that I won't be here for another year. Some other places that I hear that we have a small possibility of going to is Singapore or Ontario. but like I said the chances are slim

that's what I mean, usually I have only views from the members that read this journal and not from the guests.
