I also have a colony (a few actually) of brachymyrmex patagonicus.I caught a small colony of Brachymyrmex patagonicus under a brick and have recently moved them into a terrarium of mine. The colony has about 7-9 workers and 1 queen.

I recently caught a Hypoponera queen and put her in a Petri dish settup with a foraging area and nest space:
I combined all of the host colonies that I made from the Lasius colony I caught:

I recently caught a satellite colony of Forelius pruinosus and a part of a colony of Tapinoma sessile.
I moved the Hypoponera queen to the terrarium with the Brachymyrmex colony and I added 2-3 founding colonies of Strumigenys (I say 2-3 because I believe that 1 queen might be from a different species.)
I also (apparently), have a fire ant colony in a my two tier terrarium. I assume that there was a queen in the soil I used, or that one flew in when it was open at one point.
Lastly, I would like to know if my Tapinoma sessile colony needs to hibernate?
