Came out of a rotting log, queen is about 10mm and workers about 5mm they also sting I think or their bite was just really painful.

Thanks. I swear they were stinging me though. Also the workers don't look like Camponotus to me, unless its just a weird color form

ANTdrew, I did not collect from this colony but from another colony I found with 2 queens even though they aren't polygynous which makes no sense haha. I put the queen pictured back in her log.

Oh shoot ok, I just put her in a separate test tube from the workers I had collected I wondered why she was just sitting in the test tube portal instead of in the tube but I guess its bc those weren't her workers. Whoops.
The worker is Aphaenogaster lamellidens.
