Hey I caught a few queens three weeks ago or so, and put them in some sample bottles from work. So 3/4 have laid eggs. 4th died, but she still had wings. I got two without wings and the third still has wings, but she laid, I guess they aren't fertilised?

So thing is, I'm new to this, my girlfriend bought me some ants and one of those pod outworlds for Christmas, they are still alive and so I want to let them be, so i have been making an outworld with ytong and a fish tank, but I can only put one of the mini-colonies in there right?

What can I do with the other two? Is it good manners to take all the eggs and put them all to the fittest queen? I don't know ant etiquette, please help me! I don't want to just let two families go as they will probably die

Hold your horses. You can still raise them. Get yourself a small plastic container, like the size of a pill bottle. Wet a piece of cotton. It should not drip water. That's all you need to start an colony!

1 Camponotus sp. 15 workers

20 Tetramorium SpE 30 workers

1 T. Sessile 200 workers
