			1. Location (on a map) of collection: Amarillo, TX
2. Date of collection: November 24th
3. Habitat of collection: In my kitchen
4. Length (from head to gaster): About 11-12mm
5. Color, hue, pattern and texture: Dark red/black, shiny
6. Distinguishing characteristics: Single petiole
I don’t really have a proper test tube setup available at the moment. I have a suspicion that she may have hitched a ride in an Amazon package because our weather has been garbage. The last package I got originated from San Antonio, TX.

			Definitely from the subgenus myrmentoma. Not too sure how specific we could get it without macro shots though. Camponotus from this subgenus tend to look pretty similar at first glance.
