As most of you know I just aquired my one and only Tetramorium colony. I am wondering if I should hibernate them or not. They just reached 16 workers today. Any suggestions

Assuming you mean tetramorium immigrans? They don't require diapause, if they seem to slow down you could diapause for a few months

Hello asim;
I find that my Tetramorium immigrans colonies, even when they are in winter storage, continue to raise brood as quickly as the temperature will allow. They don’t take any protein, I don’t know what they raise them with. They don’t diapause but merely slow down and continue to function as a colony, very slowly.
