QUEEN #1 (pics 1a, 1b,...)
- Caught in Honolulu, HI on 9/1/2023 at around 315pm
- Nuptial flight/swarm found on fence in backyard
- Approx 6mm
- Head & Thorax Light Brown color; Gaster is Light Brown with a Golden underside; Shiny; Stripes on gaster are Golden
- She was cleaning the tip of her gaster alot but still has wings
- Saw the swarm for nuptial flight at 315pm coming up from dirt in our garden and going up our fence

QUEEN #2 (pics 2a, 2b,...)
- Caught in Waianae, HI on 9/8/2023 at around 4pm
- Found colony with 2 queens and lots of brood in a dry coconut shell on a farm
- Approx 5mm
- Black in color with Gaster shiny translucent silver
- Workers move very fast and erratic
- Sorry that these pictures are not very clear
- TIA for any help!
