Today I found a wasp nest in my shed, and after carefully suiting up and removing it, I noticed there were no wasps anywhere around it. It was abandoned, but there were 4 grubs inside of the hexagon shaped chambers. I was wondering if I could use these to feed my pheidole dentata colony because today I did have to feed my ants. Is there any disease or fungus my ants could get by eating the grubs without sterilizing them first like boiling them in hot water? I'm not taking any risk with this colony.

Don't quote me on this but I think they'll be fine. Ants raid wasps often

Why not just dip them in boiling water a few seconds?
