Looks like neoniger to me. I know they had massive flight in our area yesterday. Separate those queens, by the way.

Caught under a piece of broken concrete. Pretty fast but stood her ground and guarded her cocoon and eggs. About 1.4 cm long.
Is it just me that likes the look of ant brood? It just reminds of you how well an ant colony is doing.
