1. Location (on a map) of collection: west michigan
2. Date of collection: today on the 7th
3. Habitat of collection: side of my house, suburban
4. Length (from head to gaster):slightly larger than a Lasius. Maybe about 8-9mm
5. Color, hue, pattern and texture: dark colored. Idk I'm color blind.
6. Distinguishing characteristics: runs fast for a queen
7. Distinguishing behavior:runs fast and seems pretty agile
8. Nest description: na

9. Nuptial flight time and date:na

Formica pallidefulva group, either pallidefulva or incerta, more likely the former


From some images, I am leaning towards incerta as well.
