Here in NZ, I want both Rhytidoponera metallica and Monomorium antarcticum. I will definitely look for M. antarcticum but I have to wait for 3 months until their nuptial flights :(

In Florida I want
Lasius neoniger
Prenolapis imparis
Pogonomyrmex badius
Camponotus pennsylvanicus
Trachymyrmex septentrionalis
Apenogaster floridanus

I really want more ants than just one colony of tetramorium

Same I really want fungus growers. I might try to get a permit for leafcutters in the future. But for know I wasn't trachymyrmex, crematogaster, or Lasius Brevicornis.

I can see why Pheidole are such a sought-after species. Polymorphic, cool-looking majors, bulky looking queens, usually grow fast, I can't find a single reason not to like them.

yea, but for some reason I can't find a single frickin queen. The queens I want never seem to fly when I'm around and the ones I don't need more of are swarming my face every time I step out the door. I was anting a day ago looking for Solenopsis but didn't find any. However, I was getting attacked by Lasius niger queens the whole time (all of which I stupidly caught because I'm going to let them go anyway). The problem is that I already have like 230 queens of the same species, now I'll need an extra closet to keep them all (but as I said, I'm not keeping them because my parents would kick me out the house if they found out that there were 600 queens in the house ).

u might have luck catching bicarinata at blacklights
