Just wondering what wattage people use and if you like pads or cables more?

I have an 8"x6" 8 watt heating pad that I hope ends up being strong enough to warm the grout formicarium I'm making. Going to test it this week.

I'm pretty sure my house is warm enough anyway but i wouldn't mind trying to see if the ants like it better, heating cables are around 15w and up but they are like 6' long so a pad would be nicer to use but i don't wanta buy a 5/7w and have it be too weak to do anything or buy a 14/20w and have it be way too strong
