When are the best months and times to look for ants in NC? I am just getting into the hobby and I want to find some queen ants. Thanks in advance

last month to september. Different species fly at different time of the year, different time of the day, after or/and on certain weather conditions. First, find out what species are around you. Then you ask when that particular species fly.
