Finally managed to aquire a colony of this species 
I think I should tell you the mess of C.auriventris
Camponotus auriventris is a species of Camponotus in the subgenus Myrmosaulus. This subgenus is famous for their size and large heads.
Some ants that you might have heard of from this subgenus are C.singuaris, C.intrepidus and C.suffusus.

From what I can gather, C.auriventris is the same size as C.singularis. Queens can get to 20mm with their gasters fully extended.

Here comes the messy part.
If you look up C.auriventris on Google now, you are shown C.parius, a species in the subgenus Myrmosericus.
The best way to distinguish between these two is the size.
C.parius queens only reach around 1.1cm.
While C.auriventris queens has a minimum size of 1.6cm, and can reach 2cm in size.
Same thing with their workers and majors, auriventris workers are 1cm while parius workers are only 0.7cm. For majors, auriventris majors can get to 1.5cm while parius majors are only around 1cm.
Apart from that, the size of the heads can be a good way to tell the difference between the two. C.auriventris queen have a significantly larger head compared to C.parius.
People are beginning to know difference between the two and have pointed them out.
However, I don't think it would be possible to fix the information of C.auriventris on Google, ever.
Best thing we can do now is not put out wrong information of them out after knowing the truth.
