Magnets are great because they allow you to easily open the nest to clean it when it is not in use. Screws add wear each time you have to unscrew and screw it back in but can be a great permanent solution, however that removes the easy open for cleaning empty nests.

Thanks for the response. I want to know what type of features you as an ant keeper would prefer, for example, having a lot of visibility.
