Hello,

We are new here. My family started to collect ants about 2 years ago when my son began to show interest in them. We now have 2 carpenter ant colonies. This looks like a great site. I'm excited to meet fellow ant keepers!

Welcome, and nice colonies! Have you thought about reducing empty space in those formicariums? For example with cork walls between select chambers to help the colony feel more secure.

Welcome! And yes, do you have cork plugs to reduce space in their nest? Too much space and the ants start to stress, and eat their brood.
