Are there any places that sell termite feeders? My Camponotus love termites and they are one of the only things i can get them to reliably eat but unfortunately my local B. chinensis supercolony ate or ran off the colony I usually use as a feeder. I know about the south carolina biological supply store but i don't want to blow my life savings on 25 termites.

Have you tired feeding spiders and mealworms?  I haven't had a single colony refuse spiders and a quick walk outside you can find them readily available.

Try setting termite traps in other locations. Soak some squares of cardboard until they’re soggy, then put them under logs with termite colonies. A week later, the cardboard will be full of termites. Wet cardboard is like crack for termites.

I have not tried feeding them spiders but i have feed them mealworms before. They seem to like them ok but i have horrible luck when it comes to culturing mealworms.

Yeah, you can find big fat ones by lights especially at night. Boil them and throw them in. The top three things my Camponotus consume are spiders, honey, and apples. They rarely eat crickets.
