recently my myrmecocystus mexicanus got some repletes died in the mini hearth. I wonder if I should take them out? or I can just leave it there.

They may still use them as a food storage source. Otherwise they will drag them out I'm sure unless they don't fit through the tubing.

Gotcha. The link was blocked for me on my work laptop.
I was able to get around all that on my work computer. They never say anything.

Myrmecocystus spp. will drink from a replete's dismembered gaster like it is a keg, but they will not put food into it. Only subtract from the stored liquid until it is depleted.
