Hey I would love to hear your story on how you started loving ants!

I am about 17 years old now and have been always wanting to have my own YouTube channel like AntsCanda or Andrews YouTube channel. I am going to start getting into this hobby of mine full-time. I wish you all luck with your ant keeping!

i was seven already loved insects, especially ants and once saw a flat formicarium at a friends place with some Lasius colony. So i decided to catch some myself and put them into a jar, worked fine until they died of old age or lack of food.

I got into antkeeping a couple of years ago from a combination of antscanada and empires of the undergrowth.

Over a decade ago I was splitting wood and found an entire colony of hibernating Camponotus sp.  I thought it was so cool, and research led me to this hobby all those years ago.
