Found in grand Haven west Michigan. About 6mm. Somewhat slender.

That is Lasius claviger. Nice find! I got pelted by queens today so interesting to see this flight seemed to be state-wide.

Sweet, I've never had a Lasius claviger so this is good news.

One of the queens is L. aphidicola, the other is claviger.

All of them are parasitic? I knew aphidicola is but didn't know if claviger was.
