Recently obtained these 2 from a trade with Nurbs. Been waiting to keep these for a long time but just kept missing flights. Only downside is this is the ugly variety of ocreatus and are definitely not as pretty as the good variety. Either way the queens are still pretty, it's mainly the worker-major colors of this variety that are disappointing.

Update 9-10-22

Both colonies recently got their first workers. One with 3 and the other with 1. Once all the pupae hatch they should both have around 8-6 workers.

Awesome, can’t wait for my queen to get workers. Such beautiful ants. Definitely an eye catcher.
