Found in LI on a apple tree branch
It’s about 3/4 inch is it a queen

So cool, I want to start raising bumble, mason, leaf cutter and honey bees but I’m holding off till I move to a location at has trees, flowers and SHADE.


I keep: C. modoc, C. sansabeanus  :D, C. maritimus, Formica argentea, M. mexicanus  :D, Odontomachus brunneus :D, Pogonomyrmex californicus, Pogonomyrmex rugosus,

My guess would be Bombus impatiens. I can’t tell if it’s a queen from your photo, but queens should be longer than 3/4”.
