Body:
1. Location of collection: Gulfport, Mississippi

2. Date of collection: 7/5/2022
3. Habitat of collection: Within 10 miles of a beach, high humidity region. Collected on a patio in a neighborhood, neighborhood has nearby tree line.
4. Length 10-12mm? Photo attached.
5. Coloration, hue, pattern and texture: Interweaving red and black. Looks hairless.
6. Distinguishing characteristics: Can't do better than the photos.
7. Anything else distinctive: Didn't find any others like it around, cannot confirm wing scarring but there was torrential rain yesterday. Assuming nuptial flights occurred as a result.
8. Nest description: N/A

9. Nuptial flight time and date: N/A

10 . Post the clearest pictures possible of the top, side, and face of the ant in question, and if possible, their nest and the habitat they were collected in.

Thank you for your help folks!

Obligatory shot in the dark for my pride: Pseudomyrmex Gracilis? Reasons: Looks like the Pseudomyrmex Pallidus i once found, much larger, has Gracilis coloration.

Pseudomyrmex gracilis queen! If you aren't already aware, she will need food during founding.
