Hi there,

 

Found these guys mating on our car window. Was hoping there were ants, but the more we look at them the these we believe they aren't. If anyone can confirm if these are ants or not, that would be great! My son would be bummed if they're not ants, but we'll keep on looking if so.

No. Those appear to be some kind of fly.

Definitely not ants. Some kind of Diptherans.
