Body:
1. Real County Texas (Southwest Texas, Hill Country, 6/1/2022), landed on me when I walked near an outdoor light at night.  No recent rain (about a week since the last rain).

2. 10:00 PM 6/1/2022
3. Texas Hill Country (near a river at the border between a flat area of a valley and where the trees start at the base of a hill.
4. One of the pictures has it next to a measuring tape there was no distance other than the bottom of the test tube between the ant the tape so ~5/16 of an inch or ~8mm.
5. Redish in color but paler than other red ants in the area.

6.

7.
8.

9. It still had its wings and had to fly to get to where I found it, so presumable on 6/1/2022

Hi there! I went on a 6 month or so hiatus, in part due, and in part cause of the death of my colonies.

However, I went back to the Sierras, and restarted my collection, which is now as follows:

Aphaenogaster uinta, Camponotus vicinus, Camponotus modoc, Formica cf. aserva, Formica cf. micropthalma, Formica cf. manni, Formica subpolita, Formica cf. subaenescens, Lasius americanus, Manica invidia, Pogonomyrmex salinus, Pogonomyrmex sp. 1, Solenopsis validiuscula, & Solenopsis sp. 3 (new Sierra variant).
