I have recently been able to locate a wild colony of Cyphomyrmex wheeleri. I will have photos down below and you can click on the Flickr link below to view the same photos and some video photage of the workers. I would like to collect the colony but they are nested underneath a pole and the concrete that keeps it in place. I was wondering if there are any ways I could get the colony to move into something else like a “trap” or if I should just continue my hunt for another colony.
