Hey guys long time no see haven't been ant keeping for couple of years now ( university, military no time etc.) I'm back at it already got a couple of test tubes cleaned and ready to house 1-2 queens, I kinda forgot my stuff and i wanted to get some help, I basically cleaned the tubes with basic dish wash soap rinsed and stuffed the cotton in (clean hands) should be good enough right ?, secondly i don't remember my sources, what i mean is i don't remember a good place to get information regarding ants and stuff, i also don't remember my species in area and their nuptial flights, I should be able to get camponotus in May still right ? Hopefully!

Edit: I do remember Camponotus Sanctus does fly in April, but april was really dry do they still go through nuptial fly if it doesn't rain ? today 2nd of May was last rain since a while that's why i got interested, do you think some may fly today/tonight ?

Thank you ! I see many new people around here been fun scouring all the new journals. I might have to make do with that since it seems i might have missed all the nuptial flights of camponotus this year, but i will remain hopefull until mid May at the very least
