Dear users,

How should I heat a tubs and tubes setup? I have these dollar store containers, and I don't want to poke a hole and put tubing through. (Raising crematogaster which could squeeze out of imperfections in the hole). Therefore, the setup is going to be a layer of sand and a test tube. Should I just run the cable under the sand+box as if I'm heating only a tube? Will the sand "block" the heat?

Suggestions will be appreciated.

I just ran my heat cable under the whole setup. Seemed to work just fine.
