What are my Attas building?

So,

my Attas arrived. They seem to like my setting and are busy building. I just don't quite understand what they're building. To ensure ideal humidity I placed the fungus under the end of a PET bottle. The Attas are now building on the fungus. They piled up seramis and sand . The fungus and the queen are underneath, there is a hole in the middle. Attached is the picture, I hope you can see it to some extent.

First question that pops to my mind is where is the fungus in those pics. now here is the answer to your question. If there is fungus in there than they're making less room in the bottle so that the fungus can attach itself to the sides and not slip around and so that since the fungus is so small that they build based on what they need.

Ok I see. The fungus is in there at the bottom of the white cup.
