Hi everyone to promote antkeeping I am giving away free colonies of ants!!! If you decide to get them please take good care of them. Now to the list of ants

Cyphomyrmex rimosus 2 multi queen colonies

Odonto brunneus 1 worker colony.

These ants are entirely free and I will pay for shipping. I hope this will further make the antkeeping community a better place.

IDK who this person is but isn't Cyphomyrmex rimosus invasive in Florida?

Starting this July I'm posting videos of my ants every week on youTube.

I like to make relaxing videos that capture the joy of watching ants.

If that sounds like your kind of thing... follow me >here<

"I hope this will further make the antkeeping community a better place." Then proceeds to attempt to scam the life out of the antkeeping community. Way to go!

Invasive is different than alien/non-native. It is indeed non-native, and while "invasive" does not have a rigorous definition as far as I know, this species likely has a very minimal impact on the ecosystem in Florida. From antwiki:

This is a fungus-growing species that is unlikely to compete with other arthropods, with the exception of Trachymyrmex septentrionalis in sandy uplands and the supposedly native Cyphomyrmex minutus in south Florida. It is possible that some scavenging arthropods will be affected by high populations of C. rimosus, but in general this species will probably have minimal impact on native species.

And I will take the Cyphomyrmex and is there any way that you will make it a bundle with removing yourself from everyone on FC's life of and I hope the USDA finds you so they can give you a prize :)
